Scott Sarno is the Founder & CEO of Slam Dunk Junk, bringing a lifetime of resilience, entrepreneurial grit, and leadership to the company. Born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts, Scott was a high school athlete whose competitive spirit carried into every phase of his professional journey. In his early 20s, he launched a successful Italian wine import and distribution company based in San Francisco and Newport Beach—his first venture into business ownership. From there, he went on to thrive as a top-performing stockbroker, mortgage broker, and banking executive, eventually helping to lead a Fortune 500 company. He also built a successful career as a real estate investor, applying strategic insight and relationship-driven values.

Now facing Stage 3 cancer, Scott continues to live with strength and purpose. He’s healthier than ever and more determined to make every moment count. Slam Dunk Junk was born from that drive—to build something meaningful with his family, teach his sons the value of integrity and discipline, and give back to the community that’s supported them. Scott leads Slam Dunk Junk with heart, hustle, and vision—offering top-tier service while building a legacy rooted in resilience, honesty, and community impact.

Nichole is a seasoned entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience building and running a highly successful business. Born and raised in Oregon, she has deep roots in the community and a strong commitment to service, family, and leadership. As the Vice President and head of marketing at Slam Dunk Junk, Nichole is the creative force behind the brand—shaping the company’s voice, vision, and outreach. Her strategic insight and innovative ideas have played a vital role in building Slam Dunk Junk from the ground up.

A proud mother of six, Nichole brings heart, hustle, and a whole lot of inspiration to everything she does. She loves the outdoors, staying active, and making a positive impact in the lives of others. Whether she’s leading behind the scenes or bringing fresh energy to the team, Nichole is the heartbeat of Slam Dunk Junk.

Hi, I'm Anthony Sarno, the Field Supervisor at Slam Dunk Junk. I helped create this company alongside my dad and stepmom, and I'm proud to be part of a family-owned business that values hard work, honesty, and community. I grew up in Lake Oswego and was a star pitcher for the Lake Oswego High School varsity baseball team. Sports have always been a big part of my life, and I continue to stay active through basketball, boxing, and hiking. When I’m not working or staying active, I enjoy drawing and hanging out with my best friend—my dog, Butler. I’m excited to work with our future customers and am committed to delivering top-quality service at a great price. Let’s clean up and clear out—Slam Dunk Junk style!

Ryly grew up in Lake Oswego and has deep roots in the local community, with a genuine love for the people and natural beauty of Oregon. A lifelong athlete, he grew up playing sports and continues to enjoy staying active through hiking, exercise, and outdoor adventures. Ryly thrives on connecting with others—whether it’s spending time with friends or meeting new faces, he brings energy and warmth to every interaction. His passion for the outdoors and strong community ties make him a proud face behind Slam Dunk Junk, serving Lake Oswego and surrounding areas with integrity, hustle, and heart.

Hi, I’m Connor Galusha, a proud Dunk Specialist here at Slam Dunk Junk. I’m currently a full-time student at Clackamas Community College, and when I’m not hitting the books, you’ll usually find me out fishing or spending quality time with my family. Being part of the Slam Dunk Junk team means more than just removing clutter — it’s about building connections and giving back. I’m passionate about contributing to both our local community and the growing family we’re creating through this company.
